This programme will provide training in the strategic management and reporting of corporate financial and environmental performance criteria.

Taking you towards a double international certification standard: CMA and Future-Fit

This programme involves two international certification preparations: management accountancy (CMA) and accountancy for sustainable development (Future-Fit), both will testify to your twofold expertise and achievement of these professionally recognised certification standards!

On completing an MSc in Sustainability Performance and Management Control you will have recognised technical and professional expertise in environmental and management accountancy.  As well as preparing for two certification standards you will be studying multi-capital accounting, decision-making within complex systems and paradox management through educational methods including role-playing and case studies. 

This programme has several key learning objectives, and aims to ensure you graduate with the knowledge and ability to evaluate:

  • The latest developments in management accountancy and reporting incorporating extra-financial criteria, in order to successfully steer/direct, navigate corporate strategic positioning and simultaneously guide decision-making and risk management
  • The assessment of a business strategy’s compatibility with sustainable long-term performance
  • The application of data science in the analysis of company data as a way to maintain continuous improvements in organisational efficiency
  • The acquisition of values that satisfy professional ethics requirements
  • The evaluation of a business’ compliance with legal obligations
  • The transformation of businesses through the incorporation of best practices involving respect for sustainable long-term development across all of its operational scope
